WaterWay Wonder Latest News

Waterway Wonder – this years’ programme of events at Little Lever Library came to an end yesterday evening with a splendid talk by author and musician Tom Kitching. And as a bonus Tom treated us to one of his own songs which you can hear here.

Tom read extracts from his recent book, “Where There’s Brass” which he very accurately describes as ‘a love letter to the waterways of England, and a rallying cry for what they can be in the future’. So how more perfect to round off the WW programme than with Tom’s talk including a wonderful rendition of one of his own songs.

The discussion ranged far and wide but always with that touch of fondness for the rich tapestry of life on the waterways. If you get a chance to see Tom, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed and you can also find out more here
